Bottle. Strange looking light foam. Natural smell of hops and malt. Malty and flowery taste with small hop-bitterness in aftertaste. Watery beer. Tastes like a lager with a little bit more hops.

500ml bottle from Sainsburys. Erupted on openning, I eventually managed to get some of the contents into two pint glasses, each filled to the top with loose off-white foam. Eventually I was able to rescue about 400ml of hazy amber beer. Dusty aroma with some citrus and spice. Prickly in the mouth with a bitter orange fruitiness over a dry biscuity base. Pleasant enough, but way too lively. (5/2/7/3/13=3)
Rerate: Cask, gravity dispense, at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Gold in colour, aboslutely still with no head; caramel aroma, herbal and vegetable flavours with even a touch of mint; sharp herbal bitterness to finish. (5/3/6/4/13=3.1)

Bottle, Sainsburys, Upton. Poured a clear amber with a dissipating off white head. Citrus/hop, pine aroma. Flavour was grassy with well balanced hop. Bit watery. Finished dry. Good effort.

Bottle from Sainsbury. Clear copper, thin beige head. Lovely shandy hop aroma. A pretty reasonable APA. As the first beer of the day, a little bready, cakey on aroma. Bit hard and watery in the mouth. Decent subtle sherbert hop on finish. It’s a cross between a bitter and an APA. Good hop.
