Cask @ Tap & Can. Dark brown appearance, small off-white head. Aroma of sweet dark malt. Excellent dark mild, just the right amount of dark malt warmth, mild nutty suggestions, soft brown bread. Very satisfying on this chilly January evening.

Cask @ Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Very dark amber with a creamy off-white head. Has bushy dark malts in both aroma and taste.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Deep brown to black with a big red chink at the bottom of the glass. Big crema head. Hazelnuts and toffee. Brown bread. The taste is hazelnuts, brown bread and light toffee. Lots going on for throw ABV.
