Cask @ Craft Beer Co - Covent Garden. Deep brown appearance, off-white head. Malty nose. My notes simply say 'nutty', overall character reliant on nutty malt, with mild roast and distant caramel with moderate bitterness. Fine.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 7th January 2023. Deep copper with a pale tan non-lacing foam. Rich malty aroma. Nutty malts and caramel in-mouth and a bittersweet finish of toasty maltiness, caramel and hazelnut. A grassy transient. Smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Clear dark copper. Decent pale brown head and lacing. Well-balanced aroma and taste og medium dark malt, dried berries, dates, figs and noble English hops. Very quaffable! Appropriately uncarbonated. From cask at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, 20.01.22.
