Cask at the Royal Exchange, Stourbridge. Pours dark orange brown with a small head. Aroma is toffee, caramel and dried fruit. Taste has sweet, sticky toffee, caramel and bready dried fruits. Touch of sulphur.

Half a cask pint @ Plough & Harrow, Kinver. Cycled 50 miles there for opening at 1pm, so first draw perhaps wasnt in best condition. Dusty, lightly oxidised impressions, but its smooth full toffee character could still be appreciated, super smooth palate, very easy drinking. Deep amber appearance with creamy off-white collar. Just a shame it wasnt in the best condition. Rated minus the dustiness.
