Keg at SMoD Tap - Dark port coloured body, little pink head. Lots of sour fruits, prunes and a bit of port wine tartness. Very much like an oude bruin that's been well aged.

On tap at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours a hazy crimson / claret with a minimal head. The aroma is dark and complex – dark fruits, figs and the odour of barrel aging. In the mouth it is initially sharp and sour – though this wears off gradually. Plenty of fruitiness in the flavour, cherries, cranberries and red wine. Some malt characteristics too, malt loaf, raisins and treacle. Finish has bitter fruits and is slightly boozy. This is an awesome beer !

Keg @ IMBC 2022. Pours a deep dark brown, large off-white head. Really excellent complexity..great vivid clarity of flavour, develops wonderfully on the palate, good dark edge with wild fruity sherry yeast nuances. Fantastic.

Bottle shared down SMOD, courtesy of Dann and Martha. Unintentionally my fave place is the place I rate my 10k. Who knew. Anyhoo. Pours mostly clear deep reddy brown with a beautiful soppy beige swede that fully lasts the course. Nicely glossy and leggy too. Nose has aged balsamic. Sweet dark cherry and blackberry notes. Red wine dregs. A little jammy and figgy. Definitely a Flanders Red vibe here. Taste is sweet and fruity with a soft jammy tartness. No sign of the ABV with nicely foamy rolling carbonation. Mouthfeel is stunning to be fair. Big juicy slightly puckering finish. Yeah. Good gear.
