330ml can Sophie's Beer Store. Pours dark, deep beige foam. Aroma brings roasted malt, herbs, caramel, brown sugar. Interesting herbal liquorice sweetness coming through to taste. Can't detect much salted caramel. Medium to light body. Seems a bit confused and not quite as expected, but generally fine overall.

Can ordered from Three Hills. Aroma is creamy with a burnt caramel edge which then sweeps through. Dark and glossy. Thick lively foamy beige head. Initial sourness. Dark berries. The burnt caramel smoky sweetness then follows up with the addition of the promised saltiness. Underlying coffee bitterness. The sourness becomes less prominent. As I drink more the booze becomes more apparent. Medium bodied. Oily. Sticky. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable and does what it says on the tin can.
