Can from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Big blast of coffee with espresso, coffee grounds, roasted malt, mocha, milk chocolate, some intriguing fruity notes as well. More beanie coffee. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a medium roasty bitterness. Body is medium to full with some lactic creaminess. Another exquisite creamy coffee Stout from Bearded Iris.

A heavy sweetened and creamified can of coffee. Very smooth, lots of oats and lactose. Plenty of coffee, some roasty flavours but almost no bitterness. Bunch of chocolately flavours and a nice shot of vanilla finish the brew. Sweet but very tasty.

Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of big coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, lactose and caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation.

Pours an almost black colour and a light brown head, but just a thin layer and not much retention. Aroma's are sweet, molasses, coffee with additionally some red fruit retronasal, Flavour is sweet, coffee, a bit red fruit. Medium bodied. Long roasty finish.

Tasty, if sweet, and the chocolate-caramel-vanilla notes are offset by strong java acidity and a lingering roasted bitterness. Coffee cherries, licorice, and tea round out the back end. Mocha nose is killer, but the texture’s a tad slack, with a medium-full body calling attention to the lack of carbonation. Still a good pint, though.

Draft at Bearded Iris. Pours a deep brown with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Huge espresso forward nose with roasted malt, vanilla and cappuccino aromas. Thick and viscous on the palate with cacao nib, coffee and light plum notes. Smooth and creamy on the palate with more lingering roasty espresso and caco nib husk. Sweet, but the coffee bitterness helps balance out everything. Booze hidden well.
