The Old Wheat Man is a collab with DOK Brewing Company from Ghent, Belgium. Janos, founder and head brewer joined us for a day of brewing before taking over our taps in the brew pub.
This American Wheat Ale is gently dry-hopped with Centennial.

14 August 2024. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew!
A: clear golden, small, foamy, white head.
A: bread dough, apple, wheat, pear, 'kinnekessuiker'.
T: sweetish apple, dough, sourish wheat, bit spicy.
F: floral hops, yellow fruit, wheat, bit spicy pepper.
P: medium body, slick texture, average carbonation.
Summery and easy to drink; perhaps a bit understated.

4/IX/24 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent), BB: n/a (2024-836)
Clear blond yellow beer, small creamy white head, unstable, a little adhesive. Aroma: goddamn, all diacetyl, lots and lots of butter, pretty unpleasant, slightly fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice hoppy start, some citrus, a little bitter, fruity touch, grassy, lots of diacetyl, not great. Aftertaste: hoppy, a little bitter, watery, more diacetyl. Bleh.
