Black with a thin, creamy tan head. Look, it pisses me off when brewers do this. In a small little badge on the can it says “shake well” which is why the head came out crap and so did the mouthfeel. If I need to shake a beer it needs to be really apparent because shaking a beer is generally a bad thing. And, there are better ways to get nitro in a canned beer. So, starting in a hole with this one. Roasted malts, very sweet, a bit of coffee, chocolate, earthy. Full body that feels flat. Finish is lingering and Roasty. It’s a fine beer that would probably be improved by “shaking.”

Can shared. Black with a lovely creamy nitro head after a little while. Chocolate, quite nutty roasted malts, coffee, earthy, marzipan, toffee, pecans. Solid sweet but also balanced roasted bitter. Full bodied with soft creamy nitro touch. Great, this is a lovely plain imperial stout with tons of roast and nuts.
Sample from can during a 'bierproeverij' at Remko's place. Didn't take any notes, just enjoyed good beers and good company.
