Think of this as our Lot #3 on performance enhancing malt and hops. At 8.5 ABV, this beer is loaded with tropical fruit and citrus notes. Deep gold in color, massive additions of American varietals of hops generate assertive bitterness and big hop flavor and aroma.

A lightly hazed golden DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of doughy caramel malt with resinous pungent floral hops, nice. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. On tap at Local Tavern, PHL.

Hoppy without being overly bitter (?), is such a thing possible? Dark amber with rich creamy head, hops, malt and chocolate(?) on the nose, malt first then hops in the taste. Malt on the finish, with some hops dragging it out.

12oz bottle. Poured a nice dark, vibrant amber color with a head. Aroma is pine resin, mangoes, bitter hops. Flavor was nice malts, mango, bitter hop notes, pretty balanced and tasty. Alcohol was pretty mild. Enjoyed.
