Draft at GBBF: Poured a brown with red edges. Aroma is strong malts. Taste is malty light roast. Thin finish after strong start.

Keg at Steam Machine. Deep brown colour, creamy biege foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, dried fruity. Taste is malty, roasty, dried fruity some molasses, chocolate, coffee and hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy hop bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

ABV: 5.3%. Unclear dark amber brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190808]

8/8/2019. Keykeg at the 2019 Great British Beer Festival. Pours mid to dark brown with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, hops and dark fruit. Light sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, above average carbonation.
