Bottle from Vine and Grain. Appearance - deep brown to black with red chinks. Nose - Highland Toffee and leather. Taste - creamy, buttery toffee. Palate - more of the toffee, very rich. No hazelnuts which I'd expect. Overall - quite enjoyable.

Navigation Tavern Summer Beer Festival 2018, Mirfield. Cask pulled, dark and clear brownish-red in colour with a creamy-smooth head. Crisp and easy drinking, but verging on watery. Has mild dark malts with some brown ale malts in its nose. Its finish is floral.
