ABV: 5.2%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dusty, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, dusty, caramel, nutty, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190807]

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine carbonation. light honey in the malts, reasonably bright citrus peel, smooth finish. Tidy.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 3, 09/08/18. Copper pour with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit, caramel, straw, brown bread. Taste comprises dark fruit esters, brown bread, biscuit malts, toffee, light spice, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a gentle bitter edge. Not bad ... would be a good autumn / winter pub beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 9/2/2017. Amber in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Enjoyable amber ale, with some biscuity malts, citrus hops and a touch of tangerine fruit, before a dryish finish. Good.
