On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - hazy golden with a proportionate head. Nose - burnt orange and malt. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a slightly dry astringent finish. Overall - not bad but wouldn’t have another.

Bottle from Tesco. It pours pale gold with a small white head. The nose is fresh, tropical fruits, light grain, five alive fruit juice and citrus peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, straw, grapefruit rind, lemon and peppery notes with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, fresh, good level of bitterness and rather drinkable. One of the best Cairngorm offerings.
