Cask at GBBF '19, day one, 06/08/19. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is mellow roast malts, light spice, cocoa sprinkle, dried fruits. Taste comprises toffee, biscuit, stewed fruits, roast malts, light smoke. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close, Ok porter.

Cask at GBBF 2019, day 1 - London. Pours brown with a foamy, tan head. Good smokey gear, lots of ash, smoked ham. Light bodied with fine to carbonation; decent condition. Lingering ashy roast and smoked ham in the finish. Tidy.

Cask at GBBF: Poured a translucent brown with thin ring brown head. Smokey aroma. Taste is thin more of that smokey malty.

ABV: 4.8%. Clear light dark brown amber colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, smoked. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20190806]
