Sour - Cherry - Complex •
Ready for a good pucker? The Manhattan Project is a blend of barley and rye which is soured with Lactobacillus. Inspired by those really expensive maraschino cherries you might find in a upscale manhattan cocktail (you know the ones), we add toasted almonds and cherries. Finally, we age it on oak chips to add a tannic note. The result is a ruby-colored, intensely sour, yet complex flavor.

Still trying @Red Bear. Clear, dark copper sheen. Looks good. Metallic, golden raisin sour nose. Obvious metallic, kettle sour with more of a cranberry & marzipan feel to it, not cherry. Thin, acidy, crispy, doughy on the residual. Meh.

As sour as most kettles. Light cherry, and some mash malt. Pours pink without much head. Not my jam like like marmalade doesn't belong to me. Tangy acidic end. Tap at brewery.
