Mediocre, regressive lager from a brewer famous for a groundbreaking, tasty lager. This is a dumb beer. Aim higher, Sam Adams.

Clear gold pour. Thin foam. Nutty malt flavor with a nutty malt finish. Easy carbonation. Light bodied.

Pours a pale golden with a thin white head. Aroma of acerbic grain. Taste has watery grain, vaguely yeasty. Palate has much of the same. Not good.

12oz bottle in NJ. Glad to see Drake-Dan, johnnnniee and wlajwl had this already. Lets me know RB is still ‘active’. Its a challenge being at a few breweries recently that werent listed here, or barely noted vs another site. Offwhite-gold. A-herbal/some spice. T-follows, lt malt. Enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle from Festival Northland, 12/20/21. Clear amber, large frothy off-white head good retention. Aroma of floral hop, stone fruit, pale malt. Taste is pale malt, green herbal hop. Crisp. Basically a pale lager but fairly well done.

Bottle from Shaw's Pours a brilliant light gold color with a thin bubbly white head that quickly recedes. Crisp crackery malt with a touch of caramel and a light earthy floral hop to balance. Decent.
