A long way from Deutschland, our German Brewers have taken inspiration from their home to produce this true to style Maibock: A pale, toasty and dry lager brewed to welcome the summer. Germany has a rich brewing heritage and this is (one of) their Native Tastes.

Part of the "Native Tastes" series, occasional, limited-edition brews of classic German beer styles.

Keg at Mad Squirrel, High Wycombe. A slightly NB dull yellowy colour with a billowing who white head. Buttery caramel up front, with set honey on brown malty toast emerging, and something deeper behind - walnuts and figs perhaps? Really tasty and enjoyable beer. I've enjoyed the Native Tastes series of German-inspired brews, and this is the best one if them to date. Excellent!
