Our innovation team has stepped out of the echo chamber to explore bold new ingredients and techniques for this experimental NEIPA. The goal? To push the boundaries of hop oil conversion during fermentation, amplifying haze and enhancing the citrus flavours in a hop-forward blend of Mosaic, Citra, Centennial, Motueka, and Southern Cross.
We've ramped up the whirlpool hop addition, selecting varieties rich in the specific oils we’re targeting for maximum impact during fermentation. To top it off, we're using a cutting-edge hybrid yeast strain designed to boost biotransformation and bring out even more flavour intensity.

Can, huge thanks Fil for bringing it from Australia and sharing with Ryan and me! Hazy dark yellow body, off-white head. Resin and NZ herbs dominate the quite dank aroma as well, nice! Lean, dry, smooth taste with some carbonation bite. The NZ herbs are joined by orange and light onion this time, mildly funky but quite nice. A very good brewery they say, and I tend to agree!

From a 500ml can on 11/12/2024. Pours a hazy dirty golden with a medium head. Smells of ripe orange, mango and peach. The taste largely follows suit. Reasonably sweet up fron t, finishing with a light, tangy bitterness featuring some lemon and a hint of spice. Silky mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Very solid if not quite up there with their best.

It's not always easy to tell when these descriptions are sarcastic. Can. Pretty hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of grilled peach, tired citrus, coconut, mango, light bread. So it tastes. Lightish bodied and refreshing. Not too sweet but but no real bitter or astringent finish.
