Panda from danlo, thanks Ed! Pours mildy unclear deep orange with no head. Aroma: Islay cask - intense smoky peaty phenols, nothing else gets through! Taste: light to moderate sweet, firmly dry, earthy apple, peat, smoke, iodine, tannins. Medium body, no carbonation. Intense!

Panda thanks to Ed Danlo. A light hazed deep orange amber coloured pour with a big punchy agricultural, paraffin, blue cheese funk, sweaty apple, intense. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody apple, bark, salty blue cheese sweaty note, pithy tannin finish. Palate is semi sweet, pithy, almost still. Intense stuff.

22/1/2025. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear copper amber with minimal head. Aroma is peaty, smoked, stewed apple, woody. Peat dominated taste. Dry and woody. Very dry finish. Leathery, with more peat. Struggling to enjoy this. The peat’s not for me. Sorry.

750ml bottle from HOTM. Slightly hazed, orange colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of islay cask, peaty, phenolic. Taste is sweet, appley, loamy, peat, mingled with juicy fruit, bright fleshy notes, then wood barrel, smoke, iodine, and drying bittersweet tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry fruity & woody tannic at the finish. Very drinkable.
