Oak Cask
Two classic bittersweet apples meet in one glorious oak barrel. The resulting cider is massive – bursting at the seams with flavour, tannic potency, and Ross-on-Wye character. ABJ & Dabinett are iconic varieties; and working together in harmony here they layer their flavours in all their forms. Aromas of dried oranges and raisins, and Martin reckons a hint of best Christmas trifle. In the taste its full bittersweet, with epic tannins, brilliant delivery, and again, Martin reckons seaside and rock candy. But that might just be him

750ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Golden colour, short-lived bubbly white foam head and aroma of oak, apple, wood barrel, funk. Taste is sweetish, tangy, apple, oaky, vanilla, wood barrel, with some funk hints, orangey juicy notes and drying bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry oaked tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
