This recipe is an adaptation from a Belgium ale that dates back from the 1700’s. we have taken this basic combination of ingredients and modernised it with new breeds of hops and new brewing techniques. all of this combined creates this ultra smooth , silky ale with hints of toffee, banana and thyme

Cask Egham. Sweet yeasty - basement. Hazy light brown. Lively thick foamy off-white head. Light bitter which sweeps into a sweet banana-clove body. Thick bodied. Heavy with a gritty mouthfeel. Flat carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Reminds me of a boozy hefe.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Danny! Pours clear toasted gold with a creamy, white head. Basic, with some dry doughy notes, light grass, pale grains. Light bodied, a little oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with soft bitter hay, more pale grains, orange peel. OK at best.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Hazy amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth but dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts. Very strong tangy dried fruits and floral bitterness, quite unpleasant. Take a strong ESB and turn the harshest aspects of it and turn it up to eleven. Yeeuch.
