According to legend, Newton Wonder was discovered growing out of a pub’s thatched roof in King’s Newton in the 1870s. A large, sharp, sweet apple that keeps well, its value was quickly recognised for cooking and it has been widely grown ever since. This is our first single variety made from it and we are delighted – a crisp, refreshing drink with a stunningly apply aroma and zingy, fresh taste. 500ml. 4.9%.

500ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Sparkling, pale golden colour, fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of apple, fleshy, funk hint. Taste is sweet, fruity, apple, some fudge, caramel notes and tart acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, drying fleshy acidic finish. Quite drinkable.
