Single Variety Cider
Bittersweet cider at its most fulsome, glorious best. Absolutely full of flavour, of weight on the palate, of ripe tannin, of orchard aromas, of gentle natural sparkle, of time and of place. This is Major, an iconic cider apple, as grown on our farm, from trees planted by our family nearly forty years ago. A pure juice, naturally fermented rendition of an apple that has been treasured by orchardists, cidermakers and drinkers for over a century. This is what cider means to us. 500ml. 8.4%.

500ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Orangey gold colour, short-lived off-white foam head and aroma of apple, oak, wood barrel, leather, funk. Taste is tangy, tart, apple, oaky, orchard floor, wood barrel, leather, mucky barnyard funky, earthy, with drying bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
