Medium Sweet Sparkling Fine Perry
A fruity, rich, viscous perry. A harvest blend perry which has undergone a spontaneous keeve in which the perry has slowly & carefully fermented resulting in a stunning low abv liquid with so much playful fruitiness keeping it fresh and zingy and balanced.
Heady aroma of honeyed citrus with gooseberry, melon, lychee and hint of lime. Grippy tannin structure with strong citric acidity and ripe pear sweetness a little to the fore.
Try this with all great music but especially Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in full flight on a tune like The Promised Land. Abv 2.7%.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from London Cheesemongers. Pours faintly hazed gold with a fizzy, white topping. Medium sweet flavour, super juicy, semi-ripe pear, apple, very mild acidity. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, wry mild minerality, more bright and juicy pear. Wildly drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo. A clear pale golden coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, golden pears, hints of brown sugars, mellow funk, victoria plums. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, fizzy pear, golden apple, light tang, crisp finish. Packs a huge ammount of flavour for the low abv. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, fizzy. massaging carbonation.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 25/08/24. Moderately hazed orange golden with a good sized just off white head for a perry, which dissipates in time. Nose is tangy pear, light sulphuric burst, funk, farmyard, tannins. Taste comprises bitter sweet pears, sugars, light acidic tinge, floral notes, straw. Medium bodied, light spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Top drawer perry and super flavoursome for the meagre ABV.

750ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of ripe perry pear, fruity, flowery, syrup. Taste is sweet, perry pear, floral, fruity, tropical hints, with some citric acidity and drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, lingering sweet peary & dry tannic finish. Very drinkable.
