Pours hazy with a white head
A - slight sour aroma
F - slight citrus/sour twang along with a bready body of a typical lager.

I wasnt expecting to like this much when I poured and smelt it, I'm not generally a fan of lagers but I have to say that this one surprised me. The citrus character, whether thats from hops or yeast I'm not sure, adds quite a lot and elevates it above many other lagers.

Bottle thanks muchly to my SisInLaw who has an uncanny knack of finding beers I've not had. Cheers! Almost clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Palate is light and mildly dry with a good fine minerally crispness. Nice bready malts, clean and flavoursome with a nice lager tang. Crisp hops, typically light and slightly floral citrus, a decent piney crispness as well. Light crisp finish. A very refreshing and clean lager. If the hoppage could be turned up a notch or two, it could be superb.

Spotted a Gorgeous box at John Lewis so suggested it as a present my in-laws could get me as I knew the F-I-L would be happy to just order it to their local Waitrose. My official 100th London brewery but that's I ly because I incorrectly asked for Seven Sisters to be moved to Dorset. We have a gusher - it's currently sat by the sink to chill out. Grainy yeasty aroma. Cloudy honey amber. Thick foamy translucent white head. Light bitter with a sour yeasty citrus streak. Somewhat medicinal. Underlying saccharine sweetness and malts. Light bodied. Thin if slick. Buoyant soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. It's fine. Not something I'd seek out but better than an industrial lager.
