Appearance is as dark as the night, very little head, what little there is dissipated immediately. Very little visible carbonation. Aroma is complex and very sweet. Lots of caramel and candi sugar is in there too. Some dark berries and plum and some spiciness. Mouthfeel is very thick and oily, sweet and heavy. Flavour: sweet, caramel and heavy body. Surprisingly creamy! Especially for 16%, which are hardly noticeable (not boozy at all). Finishes very long, sweet and chocolatey. Brilliant beer.
