30 days, a month, four weeks, however you say it, it’s a short life. But that’s the point. We believe in good beer and we passionately believe in fresh beer. In fact we’d say good beer is fresh beer. And this golden yellow West Coast IPA lives up to its billing. Massive tropical fruit aroma hits. Mango stands tall, front and centre with notes of yuzu, lychee, citrus and resinous pine. All resting on a toasted caramel base with a long finish. Life may be short but it’s certainly sweet.

Keg at Brewdog Perth. Orangey gold colour, thin white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of zesty tangerine citrus hoppy. Taste is malt caramel, alittle biscuit, with tangy citrus, pine, resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite drinkable

On tap at Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours gold. Honey, peach, cereal, tropical, little cloying. Medium body. Fine.

ABV: 6.7%. Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity hops, moderate hoppy, citrus, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, apple, citrus, fruity, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190722]

Keg at BD Soho, 10/04/19. Clear golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is juicy citric pith, grapefruit, orange zest, airy malts, ripe melon. Taste comprises orange pith, tangerine, light pine needle, leafy hop bite, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with grassy hop bitterness. Decent clean and chuggable IPA.

Keg at the brewdog AGM 2019. A hazed mid orange coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is nice fresh, orange rind, jammy citrus, fresh hop, light grapefruit. Flavour is composed of light chalky, dried citrus orange rind, spicy grapefruit,. Palate is semi sweet, dry pithy finish, highish carbonation. Good fresh hop stuff.
