We welcomed Mark Tranter to the brewery for our collaborative take on a classic West Coast IPA. Huge resinous pine, grapefruit zest, sherbet, and nice pleasing bitterness to finish.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a thin, broken white head. The aroma is malt, herbal, light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, light piney, orange citrus, subtle sherbet, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours clear, deep gold with a frothy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of ripening citrus, oily pine, pale bread, tangerine. Medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, more ripening citrus, a little orange peel, mild bitterness. Highly drinkable.

Cue the reggae. Collab with Burning Sky. Not a true West Coast but still really good, whole cone IPA
