16 November 2019. At 4de Gentse Bierquiz. Cheers to Anke & Pieter! Hazy red with a completely thinning, frothy, off-white head. Aroma of redcurrant, brambles, yoghurt, strawberry, lemon, wheat. Taste is sour redcurrant, strawberry, apple, bit sweetish, thick wheaty base; tart wheaty & lemony finish, soft red fruit, perhaps a tad woody. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Just okay.

Tap at Off Broadway. Thick red-purple body. White glass rimming head. Blackberry and lime tones are nice, I don't get much if any cedar. Extract flavor centered. Pretty thick. Good.

18/VIII/19 - 12Fl. Oz. can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte) @ Gents Bierfestival, BB: n/a - (2019-1271)
Little cloudy red beer, small creamy white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of diacetyl, some yoghurt, very dirty, rancid butter, slightly fruity, some berries, but in general very very bad. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: metallic, soft acidity, fruity, bit lemony, citrus, some red berries. Wow, where's all that diacetyl gone? Aftertaste: lots of raspberries, bitter, dry, bit metallic. Very weird how smell and flavour are completely different.

Small pink head over an unclear carmosine to terra cotta beer. Nose of diacetyl a mile out; combined with the cherry aroma like a fruit yoghurt. Acidity with lactic acid and a tad of acetic, yoghurt, milkferments... and diacetyl. Finish has a bit metallic hint. Thick because of the off-products, bit it's decent. Meuhh... diacetyl.
