Canned 5/24/17, drunk 7/14/17, in a trade from Popway, thanks!
Soft peach with a thorough, but not overwhelming haze. Off-white head is large and quite well-retained.
Orange juice mixing with caramel-like maltiness up front as leafy, green, fresh, fairly succulent hops break through the middle and are joined by peachy/fruity yeast esters on the end. Papaya and lime emerge, adding more complexity. Don't get any honey fermentation character, which is fine. Clean and balanced with no resin or booze.
First sip is light, airy and obviously transformed by the honey. Much lighter body than would normally be there for the size but with dainty, lightly sticky honey suggestions on the finish, but otherwise, the honey is fully fermented out. Peachy apple and papaya with only light, trailing bitterness for balance. No booze or resin and soft as hell. More watermelon-like esters with expressive, dank hops emerge as it opens up.

Bottle. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Caramel and light grapefruit aroma. Light grapefruit and light tropical fruit flavor with buttered popcorn. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Light tropical fruit and buttered popcorn lingers with rotten fruit.

Can at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. Moderately hazy pureed orange with small white head that fades. Spice, perfume and tropical fruit aroma. Sweet grain in in the foreground as well is very nice. Taste is fruity and pineapple dominated. Spiced rye comes through on the back half. Moderate high bitterness could be toned down a tad, but an excellent beer.

Tap at Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is very citrus. With a bit of pale stone fruit. Med + body. Its very juicy. I think peach and citrus. Not dank, but made me think of it. Not all that dry, but it is nicely, unharshly bitter. Hive = honey? Maybe a very little on my lips. Maybe not. Whatever. Excellent ale.
