Our flagship IPA get funked up. Punk meets funk for an immersive lesson in fermentation. Aged in fiant foeders and dry hopped to oblivion. Old World meets new in this returned ale. Perfectly balanced, funky and complex flavours. Tropical fruits on the nose followed by punchy juicy dry notes and a little spice packed to the rafters with citrus hop flavour. A silky, chewy body culminates in a canvas dry finish.

Bottle. Unclear golden body with a big, creamy white head. Aroma is a bit unusually, not exactly what I call farmhouse but ripe fruit and berries, slightly sour and hint of wild yeast. The flavor reminds me actually a lot about 6-12 month Orval. Kinda fruity with yeast, mild Brett and a faint hint of wood with a little touch of spices. Medium body and nice aftertaste. Wonderful subdued complexity. Not too much of anything, just a nice beer to philosophize about.

NYE 19/20. Happy new year Brewver c*nts! 🥳🥂 Hazy golden with white head. Sweet and dry malts, little punk lot of woolly funk. Doughy and hairy. Moderate sweet and bitter, lightest sour note. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Tap at BrewDog Birmingham Pours hazy amber. Tastes light sourish, bit fizzy. Some citruses and quite bitter. Good. Enjoyed.

On tap at Brewdog Brussels, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, bitter pine, and restrained wild yeast. Flavour is along the same lines, but more muted, with earthy hops, toasted caramel, and a hint of wild yeast. A little muffled and confused but still pleasant.

Draught, 5.5% as Funk X Punk at Brewdog St. Pauli. Weak Bretty aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour has some old melon taste. Not rotten, just kept too long in the fridge tasting. Late faint Brett note. Refreshing, but not very challenging.

I get a long of orange peel on the nose right up front, and the taste backs it. It’s not sour, but funky in a belgian saison way. The hops are well restrained yet prominent. Brewdog hamburg

Shared bottle at local tasting. Cloudy straw colour, white head. Aroma of fruits, farmhouse, cloves and possibly coriander. Nice flavour with mostly the same elements.
