An American Amber with loads of amber malt for toffee, caramel and biscuit flavours. Cascade and Columbus hops will be layered throughout the boil to give a depth of flavours. Floral, citrus, peppery and sherbet qualities are enhanced while enjoying rich malts.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2017, [ Great British Beer Festival 2017 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.[ As Animal Buffalo ].Clear medium to dark amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dark malt, nutty, dusty, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, nutty, dark malt - caramel, sweet malt, toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170810] 6-3-6-3-12

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry and has a fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, trace of caramel. Mild red berries and light marmalade. Light dry floral citrus. Fine.

Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Rich chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, light spice, fruit rinds. Taste comprises brown bread, fruit loaf, biscuit, toffee, dried fruits, brown sugar. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with balanced earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough offering for the style.

Sampled @ GBBF 2017, Day 3. A clear reddish golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramelish malt, spices, spruce. Taste of resinous bitter hops, caramel, toasted malt, biscuit.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2017. Clear amber brown colour lasting beige head. Ok amber ale. Not great conditon. Some amber seertness. Ok.

Cask gravity at the Berko beer fest.. A clear reddy copper coloured pour with a lasting loose off white head. Aroma is nutty malts, toasted brown bread, little sweet praline, jammy fruits. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, toffee, layered malts, dried fruit, Little ginger. Palate is semi sweet rounded, good cask condition. Pretty good.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma... hmmm... a bit floral. Dark amber. Slightly opaque or that may be the glass. Thin off-white head. Light bitter developing into medium. A malty undertow. Nuts. Some citrus. Medium bodied. A fizz of carbonation, before leaving a chalky residue. Long dry finish. OK, but won’t remember it in a few minutes.alcohol,

Cask at the Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours amber/bronze with a small off white head. Aroma of biscuit, caramel, malt and fruit. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight sticky texture, soft carbonation. This one grew on me.
