Summon some sunshine with bright notes of citrus and black tea. Sun Drift is brewed with lemon zest for a slightly tart profile. It’s fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and blended with hot-steeped black tea from Little Red Cup. The result evokes the refreshing combination of lemonade and tea, all cruising on a layer of fruit-filled aromatics. Goodbye schedule. Hello Sun Drift.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse Charlottesville. 1/11/20. Hazy orange, lots of tiny floating particles. Thin foamy white head. Aroma of lemon, brett, pale malt, hints of tea. Taste is brett, funk, lemon, vanilla. Medium bodied, low carb. The tea is very subtle but it seems important. Overall very nice.

Quite hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of tea, lemon pledge (cleanser), tangerines, a dose of brett, some subdued grassy and herbal hops with a little biscuity and even some oats noticeable at the end - quite strong in the nose. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong tea-like flavours at first with a distinct grassy and herbal flavour that shows some brett and funky yeast flavours, but also some light sweetness and tart notes from the citrus fruits, which are quite strong as well, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows the dry and easy-drinking flavours throughout with a nice complexity from the tea and light herbal spices, but this is a clean and fresh beer with the distinct yeast notes that showcase this in a good light. Overall, a crisp, elegant and enjoyable beer that shows some good tea flavours but a smooth brett and pungent yeastiness throughout. I sampled this stubby, twelve ounce bottle purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 22-June-2019 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-July-2019.

Florals and a hint of orange peel. Very nice balance and high on drinkability quotient. Golden pour with ok head. Light tang in otherwise soft pleasant finish. Tap at Ballston Rustico.

Bottle. Bright hazy gold. Aroma and flavor are a mirror. Bold lemons with a slight earth note. Very mild funky note as it warms. This earthy tea hint is kind of odd. Drinkable for sure. Overall, probably works better in the summer time.
