16 ounce can. Hazy, yellow gold color. Small, frothy white head. Nice lacing. Plenty of ripe banana and vanilla in the nose. Tangy citrus and banana flavor upfront. Not overly sour, but enough to give a little pucker. Notes of sour apple, peach and apricot as well. Finishes sweet and sticky.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and straw yellow coloured body with a thinnish, single to perhaps two centimetre tall pure white head on top. Aroma of very noticeable, pungent and enjoyable banana, cake batter, biscuity, tart, yeastie and lightly spiced notes, but the pure sweetness and bananas are by far the strongest, in a very nice way. Medium-bodied; Assertive malt and yeast components with some noticeable alcohol and astringency from the bite (even though it isn't too high in ABV), but the sweetness from the bananas and fruits is overwhelming, in a very nice way, but some slightly soured, even above a moderate tart note make this nice and super complex. Aftertaste shows some of the yeast and bready elements, but a lot of malt and graham cracker or wheatie notes that give this some depth and body, while supporting the large sweetness from the fruits, especially the bananas. Overall, a very nice and super flavourful fruit-based sour that shows more of a fruit beer than anything else, but with a rather large soured component and tartness, this probably goes against the latter, even though it wouldn't have been produced with spontaneous fermentation, rather just soured and tart additives, which is fine, just noticeable. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 04-September-2020 for US$6,65 sampled at my house on what was a way too hot, 08-NOVEMBER-2020 here in Washington.

Pours a slightly hazy, lemon gold, with mid-sized head. Aroma is sour banana, though not too far removed from a sour wheat beer with banana esters. Flavor is sour banana, with some graham cracker. And that's about it. I'm not tasting vanilla or marshmallows here. And a banana creme pie is not generally a sour pie, so what's going on with this to begin with? This isn't that great.

Late check-in, lots of runts and vanilla vibes, another light and lactose-d.
