Can, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, cocoa, whiskey and vanilla. Pours hazy dark brown color with thick creamy light brown head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet toasted malt, caramel and wood, following is dried fruity, whiskey-like and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth and warm while finish is moderate bitter. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. I woodn’t share this one…

Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Clear dark brown, thin, tan head. Aroma of oxidised red apple, pear, raisin, caramel, almond, sweet whisky, dried plum, banana, sugared green tea. Taste has sweet red apple, pear, raisin & plum, quite estery along herbal notes in a caramelly, nutty malt body. Herbal hoppy finish, lingering dried fruits, wood, apparent fusels due to the warming sweet whisky alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Whisky nicely added here, no obtrusive alcohol. Very nice!

Can. Brown color. Caramel, hints of oak and vanilla in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel and alcohol. Dried fruit, vanilla and a hint of whisky. Nice one.

Blik 33cl thuis. Licht whiskytonen, wat vanille, hout, redelijk boozy, oily, zacht, caramel, malten, wat donker fruit, toffee, licht chocolade, zoet. Prima balans. (10-4-2020).

Aroma: Dark fruits with prunes and alcoholic sweetness. Flavour: Fruity sweet with Prunes, raisins, caramel and notes of whiskey. Aftertaste is sweet with dried fruits. Mouthfeel is alcoholic warm. Colour: Brown with a fading head.

Reddish brown beer, thick off white head. Sweet smell of fruit and toffee. Tastes of toffee too, with rich fruit and malt with a bit of warm booziness from the whisky barrels in a way that's perfectly balanced. Warmth but not harsh and the whisky is a bit distinct as you give it time. Delicious, rich and smooth.

Can. Brown pour. Aroma of sweet raisin, caramel, maple, dates, malt, booze and oak. Taste of buttery caramel fudge, raisin, dates, figs, oaky vanilla, malt and maple. Whisky is clearly present, but not overly dominant. Nice flavorful beer.
