Waxed, capped 375 from Tavour. Pours clear ruby red - but not visible as such unless against a very strong light. A few random tan bubbles. Incredible aroma of brandy and bourbon. The penultimate in full bodied. Flavor is brandy, bourbon, super dark treacle, chocolate, and, strangely, cherries. It is not dry. Heat is surprisingly mild. Heat, malt and perhaps hops, provide a bitterness sufficient to balance the heavy malt. Quite the tasty ale.

Thanks Shawn for sharing! Taster showing amber brown with no head. The nose shows intense notes of raisin, bourbon, oak, and figs. The palate is full bodied with a mild alcoholic spice. Very sweet with intense flavors of raisin, prunes, and very strong oak throughout.

Pours nearly black, no real head. Smell is boozy, bit bourbon. Bit booze, dried dark fruits. Taste is full, intense, chocolaty, sweet, dark fruits. Very intense. Less sticky than the other BA versions. Boozyness is noticeable, but not overpowering. Very nice, balanced, intense and just traight awesome.
