Canned 7/7/23, drunk 8/10/23. Heavily hazy/turbid. Massive, off-white head, well-retained. Heavy spice, heavy tropical fruit with hints of pine, strawberry and almost a citrusy character. Honey and cracker in support. Clean and with no alcohol or resin. Rich nelson hop adding strong spiciness and plentiful tropical fruit, mineral and white wine. Soft, dense malts but great attenuation with no resin or alcohol, but plentiful bitterness to keep it refreshingly balanced. A bit more lemony-piney-woody acidity than I'd like, with less classic dank spice and soft wine, but still a very well-constructed, dry and drinkable IPA.

Pours hazy deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Mango and passion fruit aromas. Soft with sweet caramel and mango upfront turning to mild garlic in the dry, lasting finish.

Pours a hazy, golden pineapple, with mid-sized head. Aroma is grass, citrus, tropical fruit. Flavor follows, along with a good charge of hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Sample at the Northeastern Brewery (ME/MA) Tasting on 08/09/2015. Hazy pale orange color with a medium ivory white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, tropical fruits and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good IPA overall.

750 ml growler from the brewery. Seriously couldn’t gold color with lasting thick head retention. Aroma is just awesome, love that Nelson! Grassy, juicy grapefruit, lemons with that light white grape type hint. Fresh cut grass.

The flavor is flat out refreshing. Floral and grass up fruit transitions into a juicy fruit notes toward the backside. The mouthfeel is soft light grain. Bitterness is short and abrupt with a wonderful balance, jeez that is good!
