Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 15/06/24. Hazed orange with a big old white cap formed of thinly knit frothy white bubbles. Nose is orange zest, grapefruit, pineapple, mandarin, airy malts. Taste comprises bitter orange, grapefruit, melon, papaya, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow juice laden hop bitterness. Passable DIPA ... picking up a light soapy edge that turns me off but not a disaster in this respect.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a very mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, a nice light level of sweetness. The hoppage is pretty tropical to me, nice mango and guava particularly. A little tangerine and mandarin underneath. Light crisp pine and a nibbly hop spice throughout. Even a mild Nelson winey gooseberry on the back end. Leaves a fruity hop aftertaste along with mild savoury green hop linger. Splendid! I could drink a ton of this. My only problem, which is no problem at all, is that the hop flavours bear just a passing resemblance to the hops used! Would have suspected Nectaron and HBC586!

473ml can. Murky yellow gold, white head. Aroma of sweet overripe fruits, dank, citrus. Taste is bittersweet, extremely overripe fruits, orange, grapefruit, tropical, dank. Medium bodied.
