Deep crisp and lightly copper coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall pure white head that fades very quickly and leaves just about nothing on top. Aroma of super malty, grainy, floral and bitter notes with a lot of the lager yeasts noticeable throughout with a strong bready and robust bite. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and floral, bitter and herbal notes dominate up front with a big breadiness and a touch of light hops, but a grainy and dry finish that makes this enjoyable, yet decidedly lager-y beer. Aftertaste shows some dry, floral and very bittered, malty and super bready bite throughout with a light sweetness and a much more pungent lager yeastie note than most others, but it works in this case, since it's the largest portion of the beer. Overall, a nice beer for the style with a big grassy, herbal and super bready, lager yeastie flavour that doesn't devolve from the initial flavours and remains potent throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 23-October-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-February-2021.

16oz can pours a hazy orange with some creamy white head. Nose is OK for the style, malt, yeast, root vegetables. Flavor has malt, dough, bread crust, yeast. Finishes dry, drinkable.

Can from the September DC RB Tasting, as well as on draft at Aslin's Oktoberfest. Poured a nice bright, amber, light copper color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was crisp malts, light sweetness. Touch nutty malts, touch of earthy hops. Really pleasant.
