Pours a hazy, grapefruit juice color, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, but again with the big gust of butterscotch? I'm thinking this is not a one-off or a bad can, but a feature of this beer. Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: opaque yellow color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated to leave some lace
Aroma: juicy citrusy fruity hoppiness, clean malts
Flavor: semi-sweet juicy hoppiness blending extremely nice with the clean malts; eloquently smooth hoppy aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat sessionable, semi-dry juicy finish
Overall: I'd say a very nicely done NEPA more than worthy of rerurning to.

Pours a hazy, banana-lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, but also with a big gust of butterscotch (maybe I got a bad can? or was this just a bad batch?). Soft mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

8 oz draft at the source. Aroma is white grape, mild, tangerine, soft bready malt. Flavor is dominated by white grape and juicy citrus. Malt back is lightly so the hops shine. Mildly juicy yet it is still balanced. Delicious!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is tropical fruit and grass. Medium body, melon, grapefruit, mango, grass, bitter finish, very good.

Brewery draught, 4/7/22. Gently hazy, pale brass-bronze with a small, but fairly-well-retained, white head atop. Juicy and tropical with funky white wine, boatloads of mineral and maybe even a trace of sulfur. Soft and succulent malts add gentle honey. No twang whatsoever - just nectarine, starfruit, mango and white wine for days. Soft, perfectly attenuated allowing the palate to be comforted but then drying out nicely with tons of tropical fruit, white wine and heavy mineral. Honey and light cracker with soft citrus and fruity yeast lingering alongside a perfect amount of bitterness. No flaw, booze or twang. Is Freak Folk the best brewery in New England? They sure put Hill Farmstead to shame (stopped there right before going to FFB). Their beers are all jaw droppingly aromatic, clean and flawlessly executed.
