Hoo boy. Pistachio made for an interesting addition, but the metallic undertone dominated the profile. Heavy vanilla sweetness from the lactose is a bit much, but toss in the pennies-and-aluminum in the background and this makes for a hard pint. Pass.

Canned December 1 2020.
Pours almost black with a beautiful head of tan foam, long lasting and very good lacing.
The nose is complex. Lactose, cocoa nibs, nutty, roasty.
The taste lives up to the smell and then some. Nutty, cocoa nibs that is basically sweet, lactose.
Smooth as silk mouthfeel.
Excellent despite being 5 months old.

Pours a dark, iced tea color (about that consistency, too), with minimal head. Sweet aroma dominated by artificial pistachio, some chocolate. Flavor follows, along with some bitter chocolate. Very thin mouthfeel (this stuff should be oily and thick). Could use a bit of fine-tuning.
