Bottle shared at the June DCBeer share. Poured a clear garnet-red color. Flavor was smooth and vinous with soft red wine character. Subtle for this brewery.

Bottle from the Reserve Society: pours nigh winy with basically no head. Oh yeah, there is no carbonation either, well, not really. Aroma is tannic, loads of grapieness, a thin whiff of maltiness. The beer does taste and feel like a hybrid with the wine being a bit more powerful. Very drinkable. Some complexity.

Dark reddish purple color. Smells like Shiraz. delicious. Very dry sinuous and lots of dry grape skins. Tons of oak and cherry. Lemon juice and very dry and almost no carb at all

750ml bottle pours a translucent garnet amber with no head, light legs. Nose is interesting, tons of red wine notes, red grapes, French oak, there is a berry character and an old ale character too. Flavor has loads of wine and red grapes, lightly oaky, Lambrusco, but there is a caramel and malty character too. Finish tannic, prickly. 7 4 7 3 14
