CBJ tasting. Thanks to Tips for the bottle. Near clear dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate malts. Chocolate syrup. Soft pistachio. Mild vanilla. Smooth bourbon soaked fruits. An electric mix. Soft and rich a d very easy drinking but, at no point was I blown away.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction Bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is medium sweet, oily, brown sugars, peanut, vanilla, cream. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, oily, thicc chewy, alcohol, peanut brittle. Harsh alcohol. Palate is medium sweet. Harsh, oily mellow carbonation. Nice. Harsh.

Nose is chocolate, nutty, dried fruit rinds, mellow roast.
Taste comprises chocolate pot, bourbon nip, toffee fudge, nutty tang, light candied fruit rinds.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid work.
