Fieldburner is a pre-prohibition lager brewed with the benefit of extensive historical insight. Before prohibition, immigrant German brewers in the Americas adapted their processes to suit the supply of native commodities available at the time. Containing 6-row barley, corn, white wheat, and Cluster hops, Fieldburner is a faithful replication of this style of lager with the added benefit of modern equipment and packaging technology. Pouring a brilliant pale yellow color into the glass, it contains rustic notes of doughy barley, sweet corn, and a mix of earthy spice and citrus from the Cluster hops.

16 oz can. Mild corn, honey grain with a soft herb bitterness. Shows good baked bread, malt backbone. But not too sweet. Crisp texture and balanced.

This glass is from America U Brew. This is there XMAS glass. America U Brew was at front and spring garden in Philly. You could go in and brew 5 gallon batches and then come back few weeks later and bottle your creation. The beer is good.

Charlton draught, 1/6/23. Clear, burnished brass. Small, white head showing moderate retention. Malty and with a touch of citrus and herb from the hops. Biscuit, honey, hints of fruity corn and clean yeast with no alcohol or flaw noted. Soft and rather sweet. Not too much so, though there is a suggestion of light powdered sugar. Good hop bitterness with vague citrus flavor and lingering black pepper. Very substantial, malty and rich for its size. From the little I know of pre pro lagers, this one is on the money (though far less hoppy than other examples I've had).
