For my limited knowledge of maibocks, this seems to fit. Golden pour with decent head and lacing. Some light sugar and raw barley. Light sweet finish. Easy drinking and good balance. Tap at brewpub.

Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Hazy bronze colour, small head. Sugary nose. Sweet with medium-full body and soft mouthfeel. Fairly deep sweet malt, slight spicy hops. Mildly warming finish.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish amber with a large off-white orangish head that dissipates slowly and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is of roasted malt, grain caramel, a bit of acidic citrus, and grass. Flavor is roasted malt, mildly sweet almost corn syrupy, citrus-acidic, with a mildly bitter grassy dry finish. Interesting brew.

Amber colour with no head. Chewy, caramelly nose. Thereβs some sulphur on the palate, and toastines, but no real balance. Relatively flat carbo, limited malty goodness hurts the beer.
