La terza birra si chiama “Abete”, una Extra Special Bitter da 5,4 gradi alcolici. Birra creata con un lievito caratterizzante che si esprime con dei profumi fruttati intensi accompagnati da quelli del caramello del malto di provenienza UE e non UE. Anche in bocca si sentiranno i caramelli, sostituiti poi da un amaro equilibrato e complesso grazie anche all’utilizzo dei luppoli di provenienza UE e non UE durante tutta la fase produttiva.
Chiamata così perché con il suo colore ricorda la corteccia dell’abete rosso. Qui sull’etichetta troveremo una piramide di triangoli che ricorda appunto l’albero.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark.[ As Barbaforte Abete ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, hay, caramel, pale malt, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, caramel, sweet malt, pale malt, hay, malt and hop bitter. 29/4/2019. Bottle, sample, courtesy of saxo. Pours hazy amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, caramel, fruit and light biscuit. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not bad.

Amber colored, hazyish, medium offwhite head. Aroma is malty caramel with some biscuit, yeasty bready and estery, bit floral hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, biscuit, caramel, again too much yeasty notes, medium- floral grassy hops and bitterness. Medium- bodied, soft carbonation.
