Anabasis is our Barleywine that was brewed with American malts and hops, but fermented with a strong English Ale strain to provide rich toffees, fruity hops, with a strong leathery, caramel backbone. Bourbon and vanilla showcase the roundness of 17 months of aging in some of our favorite bourbon barrels. Once the barrels are mature, we blend and create what we are proud to share with you.

Pours very dark , muddy brown. No head. Scent is bourbon heavy, fairly sharp boozyness. Rich , dried fruits, toffee. Taste is full, sweet, toffee. Not the most thick ( yet certainly thick, obviously). Boozy. A lot of vanilla. Very decent, but not mindblowing

Bottle pour at Omnipollos Kyrka. Brown with no head. Malty, caramel, some dates, some alcohol in the back. Bourbon. Smooth texture. Not that sweet.

Sample at Snally2024. Hype juice. Oily black, a little beige head. Malty, earthy, big big coconut. The barrel is very big in the mouth and it's lightly herbal, with cocoa and coconut. Full bodied, boozy finish.

Rated at Ryyppyliiteri. Heavy, toasty and sweetish with some warming alcohol, prunes, vanilla, bourbon and syrup, slightly thin body. Bottle at share: pours blackish with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, lightly boozy, malty. Taste is hefty maltiness. Chocolate. Dryness. Interesting.

Bottle, at share, thanks to Ryan. Pours dark brown. Biscuit, caramel, liquorice, black pepper, sweet vanilla, bourbon, prune, creme caramel. Nice oily body. Outstanding.
