Reviewed from notes.
Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: mahogany color with a two finger off white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark fruits, caramel maltiness, toasted pecans, dark bread, sweet woody accents and a touch of sweet earthiness
Flavor: wraps up the prior noted aromas to a fine woody sweet to caramel malty nutty breadiness; finishes with dark fruits, more like toasted nuts and dark bread.
Texture: medium bodied, seems to slightly lean towards a sipper; great smoothness; touch of dry earthiness nipping the tongue
Overall: awwwwwww yeah, very nicely done Dunkler bock well worth coming back to!

Brewery draught, 5/23/24. Clear, medium amber. Medium-sized, darker beige head, modest retention. Malty, with great acidity balancing and a bit of earthy and floral hop. Some mineral and light toffee with a bit of musty and yet crisp yeast. Clean, no alcohol noted. Soft and malty with excellently tight carbonation adding a zippy texture up front that turns creamy on the malty, but well attenuated finish. Much toffee and golden raisins. Rich, as it should be, but very drinkable.

Pours clear mahogany into a willi. Dark caramel and clove aromas. Thick with sweet molasses, licorice and earthy pumpernickel front to back. Lasting earthy toasted multigrain finish.
