Draught @ Konttori Aroma is a bit stuffy with peat, licorice and whisky tones. Feels also somewhat sweet. Flavour has salty licorice, some licorice root, mild peat. Alcohol is present and stings on the lips, otherwise it is just warming. Full bodied. Food slow sipper, drinkability could be better though.

Bottle/ Opaque black pour with a small brown head that soon dissipated into a fine ring around the glass. The aroma is big and bold with anise and chocolate liqueur. The taste, like the nose, is a big blast of anise, dark chocolates, vanilla some whiskey and bit of sweetened coffee. The palate is thick and syrupy with very soft carbonation. Finishes long and sweet with lingering black licorice. Overall: Decent quaff. paired well with some Reypenaer cheese.

Draught at source: pours black with small beige head. Aroma is whiskey, vanilla, soy sauce. Sweet, deep, complex. Remarkable.
